Playmate Daycare & Kindergarten

Our service is for children aged 30 months to 12 years. Playmate Daycare and Kindergarten opening times are from 7:00amam and finishes at 6:00pm, Monday to Friday.

We believe that the early years are critical in children’s development and the quality of the care and experience they receive early in their lives will have a long-lasting importance. Through planned activities children are challenged to explore their world, solve problems, develop physically, and expand language skills and concepts.

Playmate and Educators will provide a variety of opportunities to support the relationships between children, educators, families and the community both for social and educational experiences and by building trusting relationships with each individual child. Our Educators will show respect and encourage all children to feel supported and valued within the service giving all children a sense of belonging to our centre. The foundation of the program will be based on the children’s interests and needs developing a foundation for positive lifelong learning. As Educators we will assist each child to develop to their full potential by extending and facilitating their needs and interests and supporting each child to be part of the curriculum decision making process in their learning environment. This will be exhibited in our play based learning environment that reflects the Early Years Learning Framework. Through the ongoing process of planning, evaluating and reflecting each child’s learning will be documented.
